NEWTON RAIL PARK EARNS IOWA CERTIFIED SITE DESIGNATION, WELCOMES FIRST MANUFACTURER
NEWTON, IA (June 30, 2026) – Media are invited to attend a celebration recognizing two major milestones for the Newton Rail Park: earning the Iowa Certified Site designation from the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) and the groundbreaking for AU Solution’s new manufacturing facility.
AU Solutions, a chemical manufacturer serving the agriculture industry, provides a broad portfolio of products including adjuvants, inert packages, biologicals, turf and ornamental solutions and micronutrients. The Newton facility will become the first Iowa location for AU Solutions, building on the capabilities of its existing manufacturing facilities and headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The $17 million capital investment project is expected to create 22 jobs.
“We began this journey to establish an additional manufacturing site that would strengthen our organization through greater redundancy,” said Matt McAdams, AU Solutions President and CEO. “Our priority through this process was to find a location that fit our culture. In Newton, we found that community. We are extremely excited about the future.”
