GREATER DES MOINES, IA (July 13, 2026) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership has received a 2026 Mac Conway Award for Economic Development Excellence from Site Selection magazine, recognizing the organization’s leadership in supporting business growth and advancing regional economic development across Greater Des Moines.

This marks the sixth time The Partnership has received this national honor. Presented annually by Site Selection, the Mac Conway Awards recognize 20 metropolitan regions across the country based on a comprehensive index that includes corporate investment, job creation, economic performance and talent attraction.

"The collaboration between our Investors, Affiliates, Regional Chamber Members, regional economic development partners and many more stakeholders continues to position Greater Des Moines as a place where businesses can invest and grow."

The award reflects another strong year for regional economic development with continued growth in key industries including advanced manufacturing, data infrastructure, financial services and insurance. Key projects include Robinson Inc., JBS USA Food Company, Ampacity, Microsoft, Insane Impact and Deere & Company.

In announcing the award, Site Selection recognized Greater Des Moines' collaborative regional approach, highlighting the collaboration of more than 40 partner communities and organizations working together to attract investment and support business growth to strengthen the region’s economy.
