dsm Restaurant Week returns Aug. 7-16 with nearly 30 restaurants

Annual event offers exclusive deals showcasing Central Iowa's dining scene

Des Moines, Iowa (May 7, 2026) – dsm magazine announces the return of dsm Restaurant Week, running Aug. 7-16. For 10 days, food lovers across the metro can explore exclusive prix fixe menus at lunch and dinner, offered by nearly 30 of Central Iowa's most celebrated restaurants and chefs.

“Greater Des Moines has such a variety of top-notch restaurants, but even the best ones rely on community support,” said dsm editor-in-chief Michael Morain. “This summer, dsm Restaurant Week is an especially good time to enjoy a meal at one of your favorite go-to spots or discover someplace new.” 

Participating restaurants span the metro and represent the breadth and creativity of Central Iowa's culinary community. Returning favorites include Aposto, Fresko and HoQ, joined by many more across the metro. Attendance is free; diners simply pay for their meal.
