Join us from 5-8pm this Friday, May 1st, to explore Mainframe's five floors of 181 open studios and special Critters & Creatures, a joyful exhibition celebrating the critters and creatures from our world and our imaginations. Juried by Melanie Jacobs of Cat Loaf Studios, the show explores shared connections to animals and the stories artists tell through their spirit, personality, and presence. 

Enjoy artwork by Mainframe’s 220+ creatives, along with delicious food, live music, and special guests. 

First Friday events at Mainframe Studios are family-friendly, free, and open to the public! 

Don't forget: we have FREE overflow parking and shuttle service that runs from 4-9pm. 

May's First Friday from 5-8pm will be a fabulous evening of art, food, drinks, & music celebrating creativity. In addition to open studios on every floor, guests can enjoy: 

Lower Level // Explore the Oak Studio Teen Tech Center & glassblowing. Atrium // Critters & Creatures Exhibition juried by Melanie Jacobs of Cat Loaf Studio. 

The Big Room // Enjoy Food & Drinks by Tangerine Food Company, Reyes Tamales, Mama Africa, and Graze Craze. Music by DJ Richie Daggers with special Performance by Klazik at 7pm Studio 104 // Meet Adoptable Cats with Whiskers TNR. Studio 108 // Wildlife Rehabilitation with Animal Ambassadors and Cassie Wendl, a State and Federally licensed wildlife rehabilitator and educator. 

2nd Floor // Enjoy mocktails from Not Your Average Bar and view Critters & Creatures Exhibition juried by Melanie Jacobs of Cat Loaf Studio. 6:45 pm - Reading of ‘Three Green Rats: An Eco Tale’ with author Linda Mason Hunter. 

3rd Floor // Enjoy Kawaii Cotton Candy Art and Critters & Creatures Exhibition juried by Melanie Jacobs of Cat Loaf Studio. 

4th Floor // NetWORK Exhibition featuring Artists of the 2025 Work of Art Program and grab a drink from Tangerine's bar. 6 pm - Remarks & Special Performance by Klazik.
