Join the Des Moines Downtown Chamber and Grimes Chamber & Economic Development for a special joint DIG event hosted by Metro Waste Authority, a valued member of Grimes Chamber & Economic Development. 

This event brings together business and community leaders from across the metro for an afternoon of connection and conversation at Metro Waste Authority’s Recycling Facility in Grimes, which serves communities throughout the region. 

In addition to networking, Metro Waste Authority staff will share a brief overview of their operations and the role the facility plays in managing and recycling materials across the Des Moines metro area. Attendees may also have the opportunity to participate in a short optional tour of the recycling facility to see the process in action.
