Our mission is to create opportunities for youth to transform through art.

At ArtForce Iowa, our Priority I is centered on youth who are underserved and marginalized. With staff and artist mentors, youth practice art in a way that fosters culture, agency, relationships, meaning, and aspirations. In Priority II, ArtForce Iowa staff conduct professional development sessions for teachers, conferences, and offer art workshops to nonprofit agencies to support individuals who interact with youth in our community. Both Priorities I and II are efforts to strengthen communities, so that young people can live in places that provide strong social support and access to resources and opportunities. Our Priority III consists of fee-for-service projects through healing-centered arts-based workshops, art curation, graphic design, videography, and photography. When you invest in a fee-for-service, you'll receive a team of professionals who are passionate about your vision, and proceeds go towards purchasing art supplies, food, and essential household items for youth in our programs. StreetCred Studios is a social enterprise powered by ArtForce Iowa.
